Watch this YouTube video update on recent activities at the Nadaka Nature Park & Garden Project.
The annual No Ivy Day event is coming to Gresham. Volunteers will be pulling invasive ivy and other weeds at sites across Portland and neighboring cities. Get to know Nadaka Nature Park and help protect the diversity and beauty of this unique natural area. This 10-acre forest in northwest Gresham was saved from development because it served as a day camp for the Camp Fire organization for many decades. Today Nadaka is a city park that provides an island of native habitat and a place for the community to access and learn about nature.
Visit No Ivy Day page on the City of Portland’s website for more information about this event. Nadaka listed under Partner Sites.
Still have questions? You can email Ivy Watson at Ivy.Watson@GreshamOregon.gov.
Come enjoy this neighborhood treasure and help restore the forest understory. We will provide gloves, tools, training, and refreshments.
