Thank you to all our volunteers who came out Saturday September 19th for our SOLVE Cleanup Event at Nadaka! We were able to remove 20 cubic yards of invasive species/debris, remove litter, and weed the front 2 acres of the park. A special thank you to Jazzy Bagels and community member Janet Lee for donating refreshments for the event! SOLVE Cleanup at Nadaka Nature Park

Join Friends of Nadaka and SOLVE to restore a healthy habitat at Nadaka Nature Park. We will be removing invasive species such as English ivy and Himalayan blackberry from the forest. Meet us at the picnic structure at 9AM Saturday September 19th!

Tools, gloves, training and light refreshments will be provided. Dress to work in natural areas: long pants, brimmed hat, and closed-toe sturdy shoes. Please bring a water bottle and a friend! Businesses, schools and community groups are welcome!

Activities include:Basic plant ID lesson, invasive plant removal, litter cleanup, weeding the garden and tidying up the nature based play area.

Spring SOLVE Event

Thank you! – 5th Annual Nadaka Community Festival

Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Nadaka Community Festival a marvelous success! This year we had 350- 400 participants and partnered with 22 organizations hosting booths. A shout out to our wonderful performers/artists and volunteers who made this an amazing event! Photos will be posted on the Friends of Nadaka Facebook and website as we receive them.
