Nadaka Tea Fundraiser

Join Friends of Nadaka for the annual Nadaka Tea Fundraiser! Enjoy a variety of delicious teas, scones, sandwiches and desserts. After a raffle for local art, gift cards, & photography,  join us for a guided tour of Nadaka Nature Park. This is your opportunity to dress up, mingle, and show Nadaka Nature Park how much you care! Prizes will be awarded for the best hat!

Reservations may be submitted for an individual or a group (max. 10). Please submit only one request per person or group. Seating is limited so make your reservation now.

Free Container Gardening Workshop- Tuesday, June 28th

Learn how to container garden with Sarah Canterbury from Growing Gardens!  Each participant leaves the class with 2 planted containers, seeds, and handouts in Spanish and English. Perfect for balconies, patios, and front porches, container gardening is low cost and sustainable way to treat yourself to fresh vegetables and herbs for the whole family. Presenter Information: Sarah works with schools to help build and coordinate strong and sustainable garden education programs for children and families. Her background is in garden education for adults and kids, school gardens, and Spanish.  She is passionate about growing, harvesting and preserving food- year round and believes that all schools should have a garden.
