    Join us on the last Wednesday of the month to network, tour a GREAT sustainable business and share ideas to bolster our green community.

    This award is available to businesses that complete the five steps of the business recycling practices. For example, these businesses are:

    • Setting up recycling containers with clear signage
    • Training employees on what is recyclable

    Eligible businesses receive a window cling decal and a logo for their website.

MLK Day of Service at Nadaka 2017!

MLK DAY of Service at Nadaka!

Join Friends of Nadaka this MLK Day of Service to restore a healthy habitat at Nadaka Nature Park and give back to the community. We will be planting natives, removing invasive species, removing litter, and tidying up the garden.

Tools, gloves, and light refreshments will be provided. Dress to work in natural areas: long pants, warm cloths, and closed-toe sturdy shoes. Please bring a water bottle and a friend!


Where: Nadaka Nature Park – 17615 NE Glisan Street Portland, OR 97230.

-Meet at the picnic structure on the Glisan Street side of the park.

There are two locations for parking.

1) St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church parking lot next to Nadaka Nature Park located at 17405 NE Glisan Street Gresham, OR 97230.

 2) Nadaka Nature Park north entrance at NE Pacific Street and 176th. You may park in the neighborhood and follow the path through the forest to get to the picnic structure.
