Trailer: East County Parks: A Need & Opportunity for Renewal explores the recent history of investment and divestment in East Multnomah County’s local park system and the hope and opportunities for renewal.

Come to the Green Business Coffee Hour presented by the City of Gresham’s GREAT Business Program. You’ll get to tour and learn about the many sustainable features of Nadaka Nature Park and Outgrowing Hunger, network with other green and aspiring green businesses, and bring ideas back to your workplace that can save money and natural resources.

Second Annual Community Conservation and Repair Fair at MHCC on Saturday, May 12!

Mark your calendar for the Second Annual Community Conservation and Repair Fair at MHCC on Saturday, May 12! This is a free event and open to the entire community.

Held in the Yoshida Event Center, the MHCC conservation fair will offer information and resources on living more sustainably, reducing your environmental footprint, and accessing regional conservation-oriented tools and organizations. Participate in free exhibits and a prize drawing, bring broken items for fixing in the repair café, and grab a snack!

Bring your broken household items and have volunteers fix them for free. Suggested items include:

Bicycles
Small Appliances
Electronics
Clothing and Fabric Items
