The awesome Four Cities Peer Court group worked at Nadaka on Wednesday, June 26th. They not only removed all the remaining weeds from the future community garden but they cleared and mulched this sweet little unofficial nature based play area on the meadow. Thank you all for your hard work.

The Saturday, March 30, 2013 Oregonian did a story on the boulders to be used in the nature based play area. Even without being officially in the nature based play area they are already being enjoyed. Check out the gallery for more photographs of the boulders.
On December 18, 2012 the Gresham City Council unanimously approved the proposed revisions to the Nadaka Neighborhood Park Master Plan. Thank you City Council. And thanks to MIG, the Project Committee and the City staff for all the work in helping to craft the new plan and preparing and making the presentation. Lee Dayfield joined the City staff in the presentation to City Council.
This Master Plan will guide work and activities, including creating a community garden, building pathways, installing a nature based play area and constructing a picnic shelter. You can view the Nadaka Master Plan here.

Thank you to NFN Investments, owner of the Pine Square Apartments next to Nadaka Nature Park for paying to fix the fence and open a proper entry from Nadaka into the apartment complex. They also paid for the new signs along the fence to show the new entrance.
