A big Thank You goes out to all the generous sponsors of the 2nd Annual Nadaka Community Festival–Albertson’s at NE 181st, Audubon Society of Portland, City of Gresham, Eastrose Fellowship Unitarian Universalist, EarthH2O, Friends of Nadaka, Meyer Memorial Trust, Owens Corning Gresham, St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church and the Wilkes East Neighborhood Association. There is not enough room to list all the individual volunteers who helped with the setup and take down of the festival as well as the cleanup in the Nadaka forest in the morning before the festival.
In addition to the approximately 275-300 attendees we were fortunate to have the East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District, League of Women Voters, the Gresham Police Officers and CVIP volunteers, Columbia Slough Watershed Council representation, PGE electric cars, the Camp Fire organization display, Verde, the MIG firm to show drawings of the project, music by Kathryn Claire and Chris Hayes and kettle drummer Brad Hirsch, Audubon Society educational birds and a disc golf demonstration by the Rockwood Disc Golf Foundation.
