With the Project Collaborators using the Columbia Slough Watershed Council as a fiscal agent MIG was hired in May 2012 to begin meeting with the Project Committee, reviewing and refining the Master Plan, developing a site survey, preparing construction documents and permitting. Project Committee meetings are posted on the Event calendar and anyone interested is welcome to attend.
In the 2nd Edition of “Wild in the City Exploring the Intertwine” on page 287 you will find the Nadaka Nature Park story. The book has many wonderful hikes in the Portland Vancouver region’s network of parks, trails and natural areas and can be purchased thru OSU.
Nadaka Nature Park’s upcoming Nadaka Community Festival is featured in an article in the Monday, June 25th edition of the Outlook. The festival will be on August 11th, from 9 am until 3 pm.
