About Great thou Art Camp
Children from ages 6 to 12 spend one week-long session in which to discover the world of creating with creation itself. Listening to a story of the earth and using the flora of our natural surroundings, campers will bring their own unique artistic interpretation together with found objects from nature to create beautiful art. Campers will explore new skills and ideas through painting and drawing, music and dance, theater, book arts, fiber arts and more.

Registration for the week-long session is open to children from ages 6 through 12 (both as of January 1st, 2017).
Tuition and Camp Hours: Full Tuition: $205 per child, M-F, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
$15 fee charged for every 15 minutes the child stays after camp is over.
Scholarship Candidate fee: $30 (Scholarship Form and documentation required.)
Campers need to provide their own sack lunch each day; water is available. No peanuts or nuts in lunches please.

ALL STUDIOS ARE LED BY PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS
The camp’s supportive, process-oriented environment nurtures creativity and builds community. Throughout the week everyone is encouraged to put into practice the Great thou Art Camp values of kindness, compassion, love for each other, and the earth.
Camp Celebration:On Friday at 2:30 pm, families will gather for the Great thou Art Camp Celebration to view all the beautiful artwork produced by our wonderful children during camp and to pick up campers’ art work.
YOUR CHILD’S DAY AT GREAT THOU ART CAMP
At 9:00 am campers gather sign-in and assembly. There is a snack during morning studio, and approximately a one-hour-long lunch/recess break midday. At the end of each afternoon, campers meet again in their assigned groups for an afternoon assembly with campers sharing examples from each studio and sign-out. Camp ends at 3:00 pm.
