Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Nadaka Community Festival a marvelous success! This year we over 400 participants, 3 performances, and 35 partnering organizations & businesses, 28 of which hosted a community booth!
Nadaka is especially grateful for the generous donation of the magnificent bronze otter and raven by Joan Albertson, the creators of the sculptures, artists Rip Caswell & son Chad Caswell, as well as the work done by Lee Dayfield and Gresham Outdoor Public Art for making the installation and reveal of these beautiful art pieces possible.
A shout out to our wonderful performers/artists, Albertsons & Organically Grown Co. for donating refreshments, Starbucks for donating coffee for volunteers, Rockwood PUD for supplying water. Thank you to our Volunteers/Team Leaders, and the STRYVE & SummerWorks interns who made this an amazing event! We couldn’t have done it without you!
Photos will be posted on the Friends of Nadaka Facebook and website as we receive them. If you have any photos you would like to share from the Festival, feel free to send them in an email to monica@friendsofnadaka.org or post them on our Facebook page. We look forward to seeing everyone at the park this fall!
